Capital Ideas: Revolutionary Solutions for Unconventional Times
The Association of Mental Health Librarians (AMHL) and Substance Abuse Librarians & Information Specialists (SALIS) cordially invite you to the 5th Annual Joint SALIS/AMHL Conference & the 42nd Annual SALIS International Conference. Saint Elizabeths Hospital, the first federally funded psychiatric hospital in the United States, will serve as the host organization. http://salis.org/conference/conference.html
Our theme for this year, Capital Ideas: Revolutionary Solutions for Unconventional Times, reflects the changes in the library and information fields, including the need to continue integrating multi-disciplinary solutions to current local, national and international efforts that improve population health.
We are putting together an exciting program of revolutionary knowledge and topics that will guide you in this new decade. Confirmed program sessions include Digital Lending and Copyright by Michelle M. Wu, Associate Dean for Library Services and Professor of Law at George Washington University, and an update on the SALIS Collection: Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs at archive.org/details/salis.
The call for proposals and registration is open at www.salis.org. Registration rates start at $210 and include a welcome reception with lunch daily. Student and daily rates available! Reserve a room with the conference hotel rate at the Capitol Skyline by visiting https://www.capitolskyline.com.
